Cookie Policy

Last updated: 29 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the website https://dentry.app (the "Website"), owned by Roques OÜ ("Dentry", "we"). Its purpose is to inform you transparently about which cookies may be stored on your device, what they are used for, and how to manage or disable them.

In keeping with our approach to privacy, the Website uses only strictly necessary cookies and does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. This English text is provided for convenience only; the Italian version is the legally authoritative one and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device while you browse. They allow essential information to be remembered so that navigation is functional, secure, and efficient. Similar technologies, such as local storage, may be used for comparable purposes. Some technologies require your consent, while strictly necessary ones do not.

Types of cookies used on this Website

The Website is designed to minimise the use of cookies. We use only strictly necessary cookies and do not use advertising, profiling, or third-party tracking cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the basic operation of the Website. They support functions such as remembering your language preference, storing your cookie or consent choice, and ensuring security and session integrity. Because they are necessary to provide the service you request, they do not require consent and remain active at all times. Disabling them may prevent the Website from working properly.

Analytics: cookieless

We measure aggregated, non-identifying website usage through Vercel Web Analytics. This tool is cookieless: it does not store cookies or similar identifiers on your device and does not collect personal data that identifies you. Because no cookies are involved, this measurement does not require consent.

No advertising or third-party tracking cookies

The Website does not use advertising cookies, profiling cookies, social media tracking cookies, or any other third-party tracking technologies. We do not sell or share data with advertising networks.

How to manage or disable cookies

Because the Website uses only strictly necessary cookies and cookieless analytics, there are essentially no consent-requiring cookies to configure. You can still manage or delete cookies directly from your browser at any time. Each browser offers its own tools to block, delete, or disable cookies; you can find these options in your browser's settings or help section.

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Legal basis

The use of strictly necessary cookies is based on Dentry's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR) in ensuring the operation, security, and integrity of the Website, and is exempt from the consent requirement because such cookies are technically essential to provide the service you request. As website analytics are cookieless and aggregated, no consent-requiring cookies are used.

International transfers

Cookieless website analytics are provided by Vercel. Where the processing of aggregated, non-identifying usage data involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, such transfer is carried out under appropriate safeguards as provided in Articles 44 and following of the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Strictly necessary cookies do not, by themselves, involve transfers to third countries.

Data retention

Retention depends on the type of cookie. Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. Persistent strictly necessary cookies, such as those remembering your language or consent choice, are stored for a limited period and are removed when no longer needed or when you clear them from your browser.

Your rights

To the extent that any data processed through cookies constitutes personal data, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability under the GDPR by writing to hello.dentry@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Modifications to this Policy

Dentry may update this Cookie Policy when new cookies are introduced, their purposes change, or it becomes necessary to adapt it to applicable regulations. The current version will always be the one published at https://dentry.app.
